Summer is here!!
The pool is in full use, and so is this fresh new patio. Check out how I took an empty cement pad and turned it into this inviting poolside oasis.
Last summer, my family installed an in-ground swimming pool at their lake home. They had an awesome cement pad poured all around the pool to allow for ample seating and dining options.
We ran out of time last year and didn't get a chance to get it decorated. We didn't want another year to go by without taking full advantage of the amazing patio, so we jumped into designing the plan late spring!
We knew we wanted a round table as the cement pad was poured with a rounded bump-out for a dining area. No less than 4 seats and we also wanted an umbrella for shade and an indoor/outdoor area rug for underneath.
The table we selected has 4 chairs with cushions, a heavy wrought iron table with a hole for an umbrella.
We knew we wanted a round rug to go underneath the dining table to anchor it in the space. We also wanted to add some comfort and color to the lounge area too. Before we purchased the rugs, we put a tape measure down to make sure we were getting the appropriate size for both spaces.
Poolside Patio Reveal-
The patio is perfect. From the dining set to the ceramic garden stools- this poolside patio is ready to spend summer on.
How we use it-
We are having our annual family get-together over the 4th here at the lake house, and rented a handful of jumbo yard games from our local library. The kids are having so much fun playing these games and what better setting than around this beautiful pool?!
I wish you all a safe and relaxing July 4th!
Enjoy your time with family and friends.
